The tire industry in Taiwan is not considered traditional as it is an integration of both conventional and advanced technologies due to the presence of many leading companies which have created inroads to the international markets, thanks to their R&D teams. Taiwan U-Can is one of the best in the field due to its advanced production technology that yields high quality products.
As a Rheometer manufacturer, U-Can produces a series of Rheometers for customers in the tire industry, complying with different processing demands. In August 2014, the company held a conference entitled "Rubber processing analysis and rubber dynamics", where participants from the industry shared their experiences. The conference focused on RPA rubber processing solution, application of reverberation technology packing decentralization, measurement of dynamic rubbers, and O3 effects, with expert speakers in their respective fields.
Mr. Feng-Cun Huang, President of U-Can
During the conference, Mr. Feng-Cun Huang, President of U-Can, stated that as Asians work hard in developing rubber applications, Asia is now the hub in research and development for rubber components as applied in the transportation sector. Taiwan U-Can takes advantage of the opportunity to play a crucial role in advancing the tire industry. Mr. Huang affirmed that U-Can will keep its cooperation projects with top institutes as it intends to sell its hi-tech products to the world market.
Head of Department of Applied Chemistry Providence University
One of the important participants is Dr. Wu, who is the head of the Department of Applied Chemistry of Providence University. Dr. Wu gave an impressive lecture on O3, sharing his study with Taiwan U-Can by infusing the dynamic academic knowledge into the company, making U-Can a master in O3 generation, surveillance, and control. U-Can earns customers' trust through its painstaking efforts in conducting professional studies with the research university in Taiwan.
PhD Wayne Wang, the Director General of Central Taiwan Science Park Bureau of the Ministry of Science and Technology, also joined this event. When interviewed, he stated that the science park is only open for leading corporations with hi-tech competence, hence normally those who are in the science are companies like TSMC. The concept of science park is to pour great resources on corporations with innovation and promising research and U-Can is one of them. This reflects that U-Can is an international specialist in high polymer and elastomer fields, not only favored by global users, but also by domestic customers.
Dr. Wang further extolled the O3 testing equipment manufactured by U-Can. It is a common knowledge that many Taiwanese OEM manufacturers are good at certain OEM processing. However, they rely heavily on foreign technology heavily, which can be an obstacle to development. Taiwan U-Can develops hi-tech equipment for customers in the manufacturing industry, and its processing solutions are deeply rooted in Taiwan. As a leading Taiwan company, U-Can has looked beyond the domestic market, integrating its latest technology with new material application, as it continues to offer excellent equipment for the highly dynamic plastics and rubber industry.
